Staying at home and practicing social distancing can take a toll on interactions, especially for students and their collaborative activities. However, platforms like the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus have helped me overcome these issues by providing a place to virtually discuss things with peers and access resources online, for things such as the Global Goals Teaching Project (GGTP). I have been using the Global Campus to keep in touch with peers across the world as we work on the Global Challenge. The use of the Global Campus has also been complemented by other digital tools such as Edmodo and Google Hangouts to work with my teachers and program coordinators in addition to my teammates. Without these tools, working on the UNICEF Global Challenge would have been very difficult. I’m grateful to the school for providing us with these resources and supporting our virtual learning.
