Oakridgers adding colors in the lives of underprivileged as a part of Habitat for Humanity Program

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” ~ Nelson Mandela

We at Oakridge believe in it and our students always take this thought to the next level. It was an exciting moment to see how our students recently took a great opportunity to participate in the Habitat for Humanity program and built homes for the people in need. They are adding colors to a government school near Varthur as part of their community action and service program, habitat for humanity.

When it’s hard for us to even imagine life without shelter, there are people in our world who live in inadequate housing or no house at all. Housing, however, changes everything for a family and children living in poverty. To support such families, our students from Oakridge International School Bengaluru joined the program.
