I trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits.

Once again, I bring to you several exciting updates from school.

Firstly, thank you for your cooperation and understanding in managing early dispersal for students on 1st December, based on police advisory. Your swift response, adherence to safety protocols, and support for one another was truly commendable. In the face of adversity, our community united with a shared commitment to the well-being and security of our students and staff. The professionalism and courage displayed by our teachers, administrative staff, and parents played a crucial role in ensuring that the situation was handled with utmost care and precision.

Just to let you know, we registered a formal FIR, the police team visited the school campus, scanned it for any threats and cleared us for re-starting the school on the following Monday. We will keep you updated if we get any further information from the police.

Oaklympics: We are thrilled to be hosting the much-anticipated Oaklympics, our annual sports day. This event promises to be a celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students have been preparing diligently for various competitions, and we look forward to witnessing their skills and spirit on the field. We invite you to join us and cheer for our teams on the culmination and prize distribution on 14th December. Class teachers will share all details in their weekly communications.

Launch of the Interschool Phoenix Cup: In a groundbreaking initiative, Oakridge will host the launch of the Interschool Phoenix Cup, featuring competitions in swimming, soccer, and basketball among other sports. This collaborative effort aims to foster friendly competition, build camaraderie among schools, and provide a platform for our young athletes to showcase their talents.

What is Suvriddhi community project? “Suvriddhi” signifies growth, prosperity, and progress, reflecting the positive change we aim to bring to the lives of those less fortunate in association with the NGO Yuva unstoppable. This project aligns with our commitment to social responsibility and community service, fostering a sense of empathy and solidarity among our students.

Project Details: During Oaklympics and the Phoenix cup, each grade will actively participate in the Suvriddhi project CASnival by organizing and managing stalls to raise funds for the construction of toilets in 5 government schools in Sarjapur. The proceeds generated from these stalls will be dedicated to ensuring that underprivileged children have access to proper sanitation, a necessity that significantly impacts their health and well-being.

How can you contribute?
We encourage all parents, faculty, and staff to actively support Suvriddhi by visiting the stalls, participating in the activities, and contributing to this noble cause. Your involvement will not only make a difference in the lives of those in need but also reinforce the values of compassion and altruism in our school community.

The Suvriddhi community project binds the entire school community to a common good cause whether we call it as service as action or creativity, activity service (CAS). If you want to know more, you can contact the CAS coordinator Ms. Supriya Walawalkar.

Musical Activity Showcase by Primary Students: In addition to the sports events, we are proud to present a spectacular musical activity showcase by our talented primary students. Their creativity and musical prowess will be on display, and we invite you to join us this Friday 8th December for a day filled with melodious tunes and artistic expressions.
