MYP Coordinator and Grade level Coordinator – Grades 9 and 10

Ms Supriya believes that her role as a teacher is to facilitate students’ own inquiry and connect learning to the world beyond the classroom. She has been an IB teacher at Oakridge since 2014. She emphasizes creating a learning environment in which students are genuinely engaged in the learning process, making them wonder the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of learning.

At Oakridge, she has handled various roles such as the MYP Deputy Coordinator, Continuing Professional Development Manager and Subject Head in Social Sciences. She is UGC NET qualified with a postgraduate degree in Education and holds an MPhil degree in History from JNU, Delhi. She is an IBDP examiner and has taught Social Science subjects in leading institutions across India.
