Ms. Niji Varghese holds a master’s degree in computer science. Being a certified Google and Microsoft certified educator, has immensely enabled her in identifying and adopting technology-based solutions to classroom challenges. She has been continuously enriching her expertise in how ICT plays an integral role in the PYP classrooms by associating with several online EdTech platforms.

Ms Niji has been a self-directed and goal-driven IB facilitator for 7 years at Oakridge, Bengaluru. Prior to pursuing her passion for teaching, she worked in a corporate for 8 years. She has traversed the teaching and learning continuum from being an ICT facilitator to a Home Room Teacher and evolved as an ardent practitioner of the IB Philosophy & its framework.

She strongly believes technology plays a pivotal role in accelerating the learning process while empowering young digital natives to inquire, explore new knowledge, and demonstrate their learning in a wide range of creative & unique ways. Ms. Niji’s long association with Oakridge helps her to remain highly focused on delivering holistic education driven by the school’s vision and mission.
