After month long trials and preparations, children of Oakridge International School celebrated their Annual Sports Day in a Hybrid Mode. For Grades 1-5, it was virtual and celebrated on 27th November and for senior grades 6-12, it was a physical event.
Senior Students participated in Shotput, Rope Skipping, Sprint, Relay Race, Long Jump, Sack Race, Tug of War, Shuttle Run etc. Junior students on the other hand had a different set of games and tasks including jumping tasks, yoga poses, cup pyramid, shuttle run, flip the bottle, zigzag sack race, sock ball, obstacle race and the list goes on.
The main aim of organizing the Sports Day was to create a healthy competitive spirit amongst the children; and to build interest and awareness with respect to physical activity and fitness. Our Sports coaches and the students showcased utmost dedication towards the sports day. Everyone participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
