  • 8 May 2025

We are proud to share that Oakridge International School Bengaluru has been awarded the Silver Accreditation: Rights and Goals Aware as part of the prestigious Nord Anglia Education (NAE) Social Impact Distinction programme.

This recognition comes after a recent visit from the Social Impact Team at Nord Anglia Education, during which they interacted with our staff, students, and parents to understand our school’s commitment to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting children’s rights. The team commended the enthusiasm, awareness, and meaningful initiatives displayed across our school community.

“We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with your staff, students, and parents during the visit and finding out about all your school’s valuable work linked to rights and goals,” wrote the Social Impact Team in their official communication.

This Silver Distinction reflects the school’s proactive approach to embedding social impact, global citizenship, and values-based learning into every aspect of student life. From community engagement projects and student-led sustainability initiatives to rights-focused classroom discussions, our learners are developing the empathy, agency, and awareness needed to be change-makers in today’s world.

As part of this milestone, Oakridge Bengaluru has received: A Silver Accreditation Certificate to celebrate with our community, access to Gold level training on the Nord Anglia University (NAU) platform, supporting our next steps toward the Gold Accreditation.

Looking Ahead – While we celebrate this achievement, our eyes are set on the future. With renewed motivation, we aim to further deepen student engagement in rights-based education and sustainable practices, working closely with the wider community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our teachers, parents, and students whose unwavering support and commitment made this recognition possible. Together, we continue to build a school culture that empowers every learner to thrive and contribute meaningfully to a better world.
