Keeping up with the legacy of success, once again the students at Oakridge International School, Bengaluru recorded outstanding results in IB exam 2023. Anmol Malik aced the top score of 43 points while two students, Athmika Krishnan and Ankitha Ganeshan scored 42 points. Overall, 8 students scored 40 and above. The school maintains the results above the global average (30.2) of IB Diploma Programme (DP), for the 5th year in a row.

The students surpassed expectations and demonstrated exceptional performance across all six subject groups alongside high pass rates and notable individual achievements. The top scorer Anmol Malik placed in Johns Hopkins University expressed his excitement and gratitude, saying, “The IB programme at Oakridge has been an incredibly enriching experience. It has challenged me academically, fostered critical thinking skills, and nurtured my passion for learning”.

Athmika Krishnan, one of the high-achieving students who is going to Duke University said “The IB DP is a highly regarded school qualification accepted by leading universities worldwide”. Regular University Fairs & Visits

Several university events are organised by the career counselling team in school throughout the year. A university fair with 21 universities was organised in collaboration with CIALFO, the global career exploration of Oakridge at school campus in the month of September 2022. All these events gave an excellent opportunity to the students and parents to interact with the University admission officers giving them insight into aspects of the university that are not mentioned on the websites. The Q&A sessions helped them clear their doubts and understand the university cultures and processes better.
