Oakridgers ace it in CBSE Results once again

Once again, the students of Grade 10 and 12 have earned a comprehensive range of excellent individual scores with a composite average that epitomizes excellence and hard work. The school shares heartfelt congratulations to all X and XII CBSE graduates for their efforts.

This year the Grade 10 batch earned an impressive overall average of 76%. 91.3% students scored passed in first class with 60% and above, and 56.5% students were able to pass with distinction of 75% and above, and 21.7% students scored 90% and above. Muskan Kohli, Sehajdeep Singh, Dilsher Singh and Payal were the four top performers who had worked tirelessly for achieving remarkable results for the academic year 2021-22. More than the absolute scores, we are extremely pleased that all four of them scored above 90% and earned the grade of A1 in their overall five main subjects. Muskan with an average of 97.2% stands first, second spot is shared by Sehajdeep and Dilsher with an average of 94.2%, and the third position is secured by Payal with an average score of 92.8%. All the four toppers have showcased exemplary skills of time management and planning for the Boards despite being actively involved in all the school co-curricular activities and events.

The Grade 12 on the other hand got a commendable aggregate average of 74.86% this year. 87.5% of scored first class with a grade of 60 percent or higher, while 62.5% of students passed with distinction (a score of 75 percent or above). Kuhu Sharma, Jasmine Kaur and Abhinav Mehta are the school toppers this year with 90.6%, 88.6% and 87.8% respectively.

Being true Oakridgers, all three of them were filled with talents beyond the academic rigor…

Head Girl Kuhu, who recently got selected for Bachelors in Computer Science from BITS Dubai, was an eminent speaker and report writer at various national and international forums like MUN and UNICEF while at Oakridge. She was also an innovator, who bagged 3rd prize at 1st India-International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operation Management for designing a prototype of an Electronic device for Early Identification of infection and Maintaining Social Distancing at Crowded Places.

Jasmine on the other hand was the one with high sportsman spirit- from school level to district she has excelled it all- athletics and basketball being her personal favourites. She has lead various positions of responsibilities at school- Assistant Director of UNEP in OISM MUN is one of them.

An avid reader, Head Boy Abhinav is a true example of an all-rounder, who never missed an opportunity to participate in any of the co-curriculars at school and outside. MUNs, IIMUNs, quizzes and debates showcased exemplary communication and intellectual abilities, which he possessed alongside a deep love for sports- football, swimming, basketball, table tennis, squash were on his top list.
