We are mid-way through November and as we navigate through the various initiatives and achievements, I am delighted to share the latest updates from our school.

UNCRC MUN Success:

Our recent UNCRC MUN was a resounding success! Students from diverse schools actively participated in comprehensive two day discussions, sharing perspectives on crucial Sustainable Development Goals . It is truly heartening to witness the dedication of our student-led initiative and committees. Their hard work and commitment have shone through, making the event a remarkable achievement for Oakridge.

STEM Expeditions:

We are proud to announce that two of our students represented Oakridge at MIT Boston and 40 students from grade 6 – 9 have been a part of a 5 day STEM based Edu Travel Program to Singapore – STEMpact.  From inspiring workshops to captivating visits, they embarked on a journey of innovation and learning.

In-House Re-Registration for Grade 11 Admissions:

The in-house re-registration process for Grade 11 admissions for the Academic Year 2024-25 has commenced. I hope you have received the insights to the two programs offered during the Orientations.

Student Achievements:

A special congratulations to our students who excelled in sports! We have noteworthy achievements in Taekwondo and Swimming, with students selected to participate in the Nationals. Best wishes to all our athletes for their continued success.

Gulshan and Chris Andrew of Grade 10 have been selected for the SGFI Taekwondo State level competition (Category U-17).

Yarlagadda Monish of Grade 12 showcased outstanding performance in the 35th Inter-District State Championship for inline hockey and is now set to represent the district at the 61st National Championship in Chandigarh this December. Congratulations, Monish!

Early University Placement:

A moment of pride as our Grade 12 student – Riya Bhansali achieves success at IIT Madras placements. She got acceptance for undergraduate program for BS Data Sciences and Application ! Ranked number 1 in overall category by NIRF.

Parent-Student Partnership:

A warm thank you to the parents who have actively participated in the Parent Satisfaction Survey (PSS). For those who haven’t, we kindly request your valuable input. Your feedback is invaluable in enhancing our school community.
