Principal Update March 2023

  • 15 March 2023

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

I hope you all had wonderful Holi celebrations last week! Holi reminds me of ‘DEIB’ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging), which is not just a buzzword or a trend but is a core value that we aim to integrate into everything we do at our school. It is our responsibility as educators and parents to ensure that we provide a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel welcome and supported.

Recently, our Pedagogical Leadership Team and I attended the Regional Conference of Nord Anglia Education- South East Asia Middle East India at Doha, Qatar. The conference offered us the opportunity to exchange knowledge with educational experts across the region. We shared the best practices in teaching and learning adopted by each school while maintaining international standards.

We are constantly striving to improve our communication with parents and enhance your experience with our school via the Oak App. Very soon you will be able to explore some amazing new features and a completely new user interface.

Recently, our Early Years and Primary Years learners got graduated, and it was a day filled with honor and joy. I want to express my heartfelt congratulations to you and your child for achieving this significant milestone in their academic journey.

The examination fervor is in the air. I hope everyone performed to the best of their capabilities, and that the upcoming Report Card Day will bring smiles on everyone’s faces. For the ones who are still undergoing examinations, our best wishes are with you. I am proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the year, and I am confident that their efforts will be reflected in their results.

As parents, you have played a crucial role in your child’s success, and your unwavering support and encouragement have undoubtedly contributed to their achievements. Today, we celebrate not only your child’s accomplishments but also your dedication and commitment to their education. As your child moves on to the next chapter of their life, I urge you to continue to be their source of guidance and inspiration. Encourage them to pursue their dreams and goals, even in the face of adversity, and remind them that their hard work and determination will pay off.

Regards
