The month began on an inspiring note with the IBDP 2 Visual Arts Exhibition, where students presented a powerful showcase of their creative journeys. Each body of work reflected months of thoughtful inquiry, experimentation, and reflection—bringing ideas to life through diverse media and perspectives.
Visitors were given a meaningful glimpse into the depth of student thinking and artistic expression, as every piece told a story of process as much as outcome. The exhibition stood as a testament to our students’ curiosity, discipline, and confidence as emerging artists, and set an energising tone for the weeks ahead.
A deeply touching milestone for our senior students was the DP 2 Good Luck Party, held on 17th April. The event brought together students, teachers, and school leaders in a warm, encouraging space filled with pride, gratitude, and hope.
As the cohort prepares for their final examinations, the celebration honoured not just academic effort, but the resilience, growth, and perseverance that have shaped their journey. Heartfelt messages of support, shared reflections, and moments of togetherness made the gathering truly special—reminding our students that they step forward supported by an entire community that believes in them.
Collectively, these visits nurtured curiosity, critical thinking, and real‑world application—key elements of meaningful learning within the MYP framework.
The spotlight shifs to the PYP 5 Exhibition, a powerful demonstration of student agency, inquiry, and action. With confidence and clarity, students shared their understanding of real‑world issues, highlighting their skills in research, collaboration, and communication.
As they presented their learning, students engaged parents and visitors in thoughtful, meaningful conversations inviting them to question, reflect, and connect with the ideas explored. The exhibition marked an important milestone, showcasing not only what students have learned, but how they think, express, and take ownership of their learning journey
The spirit of encouragement continued with the celebration held on 24th April, to wish students well as they prepared for their MYP 5 e-assessments. The gathering brought together students and teachers in an atmosphere filled with positivity, reassurance, and pride.
The event recognised the sustained effort, resilience, and commitment students have demonstrated over the years, while reinforcing confidence as they approached this important academic milestone. It served as a meaningful reminder that their hard work is valued—and that they move forward supported and believed in by the entire school community.
The month concluded with the Early Years and Primary Years hosting their Student‑Led Conferences (SLC) on 24th April, where students confidently took ownership of their learning journeys. By sharing their goals, progress, and reflections with parents, students demonstrated agency, self‑awareness, and growing confidence.
These conferences highlighted the strength of student voice while reinforcing the importance of a strong partnership between home and school. The sessions offered meaningful insights into each child’s learning journey and celebrated the shared commitment to growth, reflection, and continuous learning.
