Update from the Principal’s Desk – February 2026

  • 10 February 2026

Dear Parents,

As we move through February, I am delighted to share the vibrant learning experiences and meaningful engagements unfolding across our Early Years and Primary Years Programme. This month has been full of joyful exploration, curiosity, and community building—each moment reflecting the spirit of inquiry that defines our learners.

Over the past week, our students participated in several enriching field experiences. Grade 4’s Progress Parade on 4 February set a wonderful tone, offering parents and teachers a glimpse into our learners’ achievements and growing confidence. On the same day, students also embarked on a field trip to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), where they witnessed science in action.

5 February was an especially energetic day on campus as we celebrated Global Play Day, reaffirming the importance of unstructured play in building creativity and resilience. Our Nursery children visited the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, while PYPX Group–4 also explored the museum as part of their inquiry work—creating meaningful real-world connections that enrich their Exhibition journeys.

Our young explorers continued their learning outside the classroom with Grade 3’s Progress Parade, a Field Trip to the Forest Complex in Mohali, visits to the Chandigarh Art Gallery by several grades, and an engaging guest talk for EYP2 on 10 February. The curiosity of early learners is truly inspiring, and these experiences play a vital role in shaping their understanding of the world.

In the coming days, we look forward to several key events. Our EYP1 learners will visit the Fire Station on 13 February, an experience that always sparks excitement and wonder. On 21 February, we will host SLC & PYPX, giving students an opportunity to lead conversations about their learning progress. On the same day, we are excited to welcome our families for “Donuts with Dad”, a warm community-building football match that celebrates the special bond between our young learners and their fathers.

Later in the month, on 24 February, EYP1A will host a Guest Lecture on Community Helpers, continuing our focus on real‑world learning and social awareness.

I would also like to draw your attention to the Re-enrolment Survey for the Academic Year 2026–27, which has now been rolled out. Your timely responses will greatly support our planning for staffing, classroom allocations, and resource provisioning for the upcoming year. We truly value your partnership and feedback.

As always, I am grateful for your continued trust and collaboration. Our learners thrive when school and home move forward together, and February is a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve collectively—a month of curiosity, connection, and joyful learning.

Warm regards,
Ms. Suman Kalra
Principal
