Exemplary achievements by Oakridgers across multiple competitive platforms

Muhammad Ali, the renounced World Heavy Weight Boxing Legend once quoted that “Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision.”

Oakridgers are known for high spirit in sports and in life. Our goal in physical education is to expose pupils to a wide range of sports and activities in the hopes that they will acquire a love for physical activity and recognize the value of living a healthy, active lifestyle once leaving the school. We at Oakridge International School, Mohali, support each child’s total growth. Our comprehensive physical education curriculum offers plenty of opportunities for a variety of athletic and physical activities to keep kids’ bodies as engaged as their minds.

State Winners:

Under-14 Girls lawn tennis team of S.A.S Nagar Mohali stood 2nd in State and Bhavvya of Grade 6 was a part of the winning team.

Sanvi Midha of grade 7 participated in Under-14 Girls table tennis state championship from SAS Nagar Mohali team and got second position.

Principal Ms. Suman Kalra cites: “We desire the best for our children at Oakridge International School Mohali, not just in terms of academics but also in terms of extracurricular activities and sports. Many life skills are learned and developed on the sports field. Above all, we see kids learning sportsmanship, a focus on their own achievement as well as the success of the team, resilience, and persistence. Since we believe these abilities are essential for long-term success, our school actively encourages involvement in a range of sports. Each of you has earned our admiration. I hope your future endeavours go well for you.”
