Young learners from Nursery to Grade 4 celebrated the year-long learning towards the session’s end. Curious minds showcased their excellence in academics, dance, drama, music, physical activity, and art at the virtual Student-Led Exhibition at Oakridge International School, Mohali on 26th February, 2022.

The rewarding culmination of the year-long journey witnessed creativity at its peak. Students went really innovative while presenting their holistic learning. From flashcards to working models, from display units to presentations, from posters and canopies to enactments, young and meticulous learners tried them all.

The preparations started 1 month prior, where the students were encouraged to choose their favorite topics, reflect on their understanding, take ownership, compile the learnings and present on the final day. Teachers, parents, and coordinators- everyone worked in collaboration with the students to make this happen.

The philosophy of IB’s Student-Led Exhibition is simple- to create individuals who are self-aware, responsible, reflective, ambitious, initiators, opinionated, and those who lead the feedback process and improve consistently.

Principal Ms. Ramanjit Ghuman quotes: “Under the inquiry-based IB PYP curriculum, students get a chance to develop holistically throughout the year, and Student-Led Exhibition is the culmination of year-long learning. While celebrating learning, young minds also enhanced and showcased 21st-century skills like communication, presentation, critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and the list goes on. It gives me immense pleasure to see such happy endings to the academic year. I wish more enthusiasm and zeal among the students in the upcoming year.”
