As we step into September, I am delighted to share a quick glimpse of the enriching experiences and celebrations that await our Oakridgers this month. From academic milestones to cultural observances, every event has been thoughtfully planned to nurture confidence, creativity, and a spirit of togetherness.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt compassion to those impacted by the recent floods in Punjab. Our condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and to everyone affected by the destruction this natural calamity has caused. These tough moments have made us all realise the importance of community, resilience, and gratitude, which we continue to uphold at Oakridge.

Teacher’s Day

Though the floods prevented us from gathering on campus, our learners organised a thoughtful virtual celebration. With heartfelt performances and messages, they expressed their love and respect for their mentors, demonstrating that gratitude knows no boundaries.

International Dot Day 

Our Oakridgers shall mark this day with a special assembly highlighting its significance, exploring creativity and imagination through this global celebration. With colorful and collaborative activities, students from Pre-Nursery to Grade 2, on 15th September, will celebrate the art of creating and expressing.

Trial 1, Term 1 & IBDP Assessments

The academic milestones shall form an important part of this month. Students will have their Trial 1 (CIE & IGCSE), Term 1 (CBSE), and IBDP Summative Assessments, showcasing their learning, application of concepts by far.

Progress Parade 

Our little EYP1 learners will present on 18th September, followed by Grade 1 and Grades 3–5 on 19th September. An IB preview of how inquiry-based learning works and how our students cultivate their level of confidence.

International Day of Peace 

On 21st September, our learners shall embark upon this special day, reflecting on the values of empathy, compassion, and harmony deeply rooted in our school ethos.

100 Days of Nursery 

A special milestone awaits our youngest learners as they celebrate 100 joyful days of school on 27th September. A pure showcase of their tiny yet vibrant progress, inculcating the spirit of enthusiasm during their early Years.

Parent–Teacher Meet

A day to highlight our learners’ achievements, growth prospects, and scope of enhancements. Parents will be welcomed to share their valuable feedback, discuss their reflections, and receive collaborative support in their child’s learning journey.

In Reflection

September promises to be a month filled with joy, purpose, and growth that shall continue and be enhanced for the entire academic session ahead. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your patience, support, and cooperation throughout these tough times.
