Principal Letter August 2022

  • 22 August 2022

Dear Parents

Greetings! Hope you all are doing well.

The month of August has been seeped in patriotic fervour. Our children were engaged in various engagements and the Read to Lead Week was one of them. I would like to thank all our parents for being with the children as they celebrated the Independence Day in various ways.

I would like to keep you informed about a key development. After a very fruitful tenure as the Regional Managing Director of Nord Anglia Education, India, Mr. Cooklin has now taken charge as the Regional Managing Director for Europe Region. The India region is now a part of the Southeast Asia and the Middle East region. Mr Christopher Short has taken charge as the Managing Director for India. He is an experienced academician and a senior NAE colleague. Currently he is working remotely and will travel to India very soon once his travel documentation is in place. The Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Middle East Region is Mr Shaun Williams. I am sure that this move will benefit us immensely and we will be collaborating and working with all the schools in the region.

I am very happy to share that some of our Cambridge IGCSE grade 10 students had opted to take the June series and the results make us proud. The results have once again reiterated the sound academic foundation that the school offers considering the fact that this batch was studying online through the two years.

I would also like to keep you updated about the latest on our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I am pleased to inform you that we have been recommended for the IBDP authorisation. There is some paperwork that is in progress and we expect the receive the official certificate very soon and we expect to start the classes in this month itself.

Once again I would like to thank you for your continued support and enthusiastic participation in all school engagements.

Kind regards
Ramanjit Ghuman
