Learning knows no bounds, even the worst pandemic of the century could not stop the students from learning. However, childhood can never be same without the routine to the school, the rebuke the teacher, chat with the classmates and peeping into your friend’s lunch box. Though parents and students expressed their joy as the government of AP declared the reopening of schools, there were still some doubts about sending children to school, with the fear of COVID-19 3rd wave.

Under the Oakridge Inspireon series of Guest Talks organised by the senior students of Oakridge International School, families in the city of Visakhapatnam got an opportunity to virtually interact with Dr.P.V.Sudhakar –  Principal of prestigious Andhra Medical College – who did an excellent service to the people protecting them from COVID-19. Dr Sudhakar helped clear the doubts and fears of parents and students, briefed them on Vaccination for children under the age of 18 and precautionary measurements to live with COVID-19 safely. Oakridge Inspireon is a platform in which the school students connect with leaders and mentors from the community and industry around us. With more than 1000 such talks, Oakridge’s have had the privilege to hear from VVS Lakshman, PV Sindhu, VV Lakshminarayna and many others.
