Dear Parents,

From the Principal’s Desk

March was a thoughtful and enriching month at Oakridge International School, Mohali—one that brought together moments of reflection, proud milestones, and important transitions across the school. As a community, we marked the close of learning phases, celebrated achievements, and embraced new beginnings with purpose.

Here are the key highlights of this vibrant month at Oakridge.

The Graduation Ceremony for EYP2 and Grade 5 students that took place on the 14th of March was considered overwhelming and memorable for the faculty and staff of Oakridge. A breathtaking Bhangra dance added positivity to the event. Parents expressed their sentiments on the growth, confidence, and supportive environment and expressed their gratitude for the many years their children were with Oakridge. It was evident that the Oakridge community was proud as the children transitioned to the next step of their academic journey.

In the Culinary Department, they visited professional kitchens that feature teaching kitchens for learning about the Culinary Arts, and they toured the Media and Journalism department and observed a studio setup.

We are proud to inform that Taanish has been selected by the All India Tennis Association (AITA), Government of India, as one of the Top 2 players in the country to represent Team India at the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championships Finals in Colombo, Sri Lanka (28 March–10 April 2026) and the ITF World Juniors Team Competition in Kuching, Malaysia (28 April–3 May 2026). This selection is an outcome of the AITA National Selection Camp in New Delhi, where the country’s top 6 players were invited.

We couldn’t have asked for a finer start to the month—Mehtab Singh clinched 3rd place at the International French Spell Bee. The beauty of a second language lies not only in precision, but in courage; Mehtab showed both, letter by letter. ‘It felt like music when I got the word right,’ he said afterwards. We agree—très bien, Mehtab.
