Dear Parents,

Wishing a very happy new year to all!

As I begin my journey with Oakridge International School, Gachibowli and take up the interim charge as principal, I am excited to interact with expert set of colleagues and talented pool of students. During the course of my professional journey I have been associated with multiple leading educational institutes and have had the opportunity to witness talented students transition into budding professionals.

I believe that education is all about imparting inclusivity of thoughts, ideas, and differing opinions. As the oftquoted maxim goes, ‘education is about kindling of fire rather than filling of pail’. Therefore, experiential and blended approach to learning becomes important. Moreover, resonating with the vision and mission of the school, I strongly believe that student happiness quotient of learners should be the topmost priority in building a cohesive community around us.

Considering all this, it gives me immense happiness to share with you all that we have successfully completed the IB Continuum evaluation and have received great praise from the IB evaluation committee. I am also happy to inform you all that we are the first school in Telangana to have completed the whole school multi-program evaluation and we are the first school in the state to have completed the evaluation under the new Program Standard and Practices. A big thanks to the entire Oakridge fraternity- staff, students, and parents- for their never-ending support in helping us achieve this milestone.

 It is a notable feat for us as the synchronized evaluation is a tedious process which requires immense grit and determination. I am glad that we are off to a good start in the very beginning of the year. With this, I hope for many such eventful happenings around the year. Hoping to see you all at CASnival!
