Middle Years Programme

During your child's crucial transition stage, we ensure their knowledge on wide range of subjects enhances

As your child’s education at Oakridge International School continues, they will broaden their study whilst broadening their minds. We use the IB and CBSE curricula as the basis for our Middle Years Programme. The IB Curriculum enables students to confidently transition from primary education to the CBSE or IB Middle Years Programme and develops the skills and confidence your child will need to thrive.

The aim of these curricula is to expand the student’s knowledge of a wide range of subjects while encouraging them to analyze and make connections between them. Our curricula at middle years build on your child’s knowledge and give them the tools and confidence to critique what they hear and see and to embark on their own learning outside of the classroom. In the Middle School, your child will focus upon honing the skills that will be required for future success. The main tools for this curricula are accessed through the CBSE and IB curricula.

At Oakridge International School, Gachibowli we ensure we offer the greatest opportunities to your child with a variety of routes for your child with a wide range of abilities.

Broadly the subjects taught to the Middle Years Programme provide students with learning objectives to ensure a base of knowledge in each area of study. In this way Oakridge affirms the dynamic pattern of the three stages – inquiry, action, and reflection as essential relationships found in every unit of study. Your child will learn to apply techniques learned in one subject to several others, and will be able to learn at a pace that they find comfortable. They will receive personalised attention from our skilled and caring teachers.
