Oakridger Sreya and Kushal clinched merit scholarships in the PSAT/NMSQT – Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test held by the U.S. College Board. Being the U.S. citizens and academically talented students of Grade 11, they were eligible to participate in this exam. From over 50,000 high scorers nationwide, they made into 7,500 merit scholarship finalists in PSAT/NMSQT.
The duo received scholarships from the top-world universities for their higher education and will be pursuing their chosen education programs further. Sreya got selected by the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Kushal into the Carnegie Mellon University. To this great achievement, Oakridge Principal Arjun Rao said “This is an extremely prestigious feather in the cap of Oakridge International School! Our students have qualified as finalists in this examination and have placed among a very exclusive group of students who will be receiving scholarships towards their higher studies. The College Board association is made up of 6,000 world’s leading education institutions and is a door to scholarships, information from colleges, and free practice to prepare for the new SAT and the Advanced Placement Program.
