Ms. Kathakali Roy is a dedicated advocate for lifelong learning, instilling this ethos within her students and colleagues alike. With a strong emphasis on fostering a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and inquiry, she provides teachers with the necessary tools and resources to create engaging learning experiences for Early Years students.

Having been part of Oakridge Gachibowli since 2014, Ms. Roy has held various roles, including Homeroom Teacher, Grade Level Coordinator, and now Head of Early Years. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

Ms. Roy’s commitment to professional development is evident through her participation in IB trainings and her contributions as a presenter at conferences. She believes deeply in the importance of educators embodying a growth mindset and is dedicated to fostering a community of adaptable and resilient learners.

In her role as Head of Early Years, Ms. Roy strives to create an environment where students are encouraged to inquire deeply and persistently. Through her leadership, she aims to nurture international-mindedness and empower students to become self-directed learners from a young age.
