Update From The Principal’s Desk – April 2026
- 9 April 2026
Dear Parents,
As we mark the end of the academic year, we do so with heartfelt gratitude to our students, educators, and especially our parents, whose trust and support shaped every step of this journey. It has been a year of purposeful growth, where new spaces sparked new thinking, and learning extended far beyond classrooms onto national and international platforms through internships, global collaborations, trips, and celebrations of culture and community. From the energy of our signature events to the deep bonds nurtured within our boarding community, this year reminded us that true achievement lies not just in milestones reached, but in the strength of a community growing together.
With these reflections as our foundation, we now look ahead to the year before us with renewed energy and intention. I would like to extend a warm welcome to our school community as we step into the new academic year together. This month marks a time of transition, new beginnings, and renewed focus for our students and staff.
We are pleased to welcome our Grade 10 and Grade 12 students, who have already commenced their academic year. We now look forward to welcoming all students back to campus on April 13, which marks the formal start of the 2026-27 academic year. Along with our returning students, we are happy to welcome new joiners and a group of new teachers who have been engaged in training and planning to ensure a smooth start for all.
As we begin the new academic year, we also reflect with pride on the achievements of our recent graduating batch. Our Grade 12 CBSE and IBDP students are now preparing to move into higher education, and the university placement process continues to progress steadily. More than half of our placed students have received offers from universities ranked among the global top 100. These include University College London, University of Melbourne, The University of Manchester, Purdue University, University of Sydney, and Monash University to name a few. More confirmations are expected in the coming weeks, keeping us firmly on track towards full placement.
In May, students from Grades 9 to 12 will also have an opportunity to participate in a four-week internship programme with Pharmint, a company based in Singapore. The programme will offer exposure across areas such as entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and machine learning, law, social impact, and economics, helping students gain practical insights and real-world experience.
You would have already received class photographs and thank-you notes from your child’s teachers. In addition, your child’s new class teachers should have reached out to introduce themselves and share important information for the year ahead.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We look forward to working closely with you to make this academic year purposeful, engaging, and rewarding for our students.
Warm regards,
Shaila Bhamidipati
