In today’s world, it’s not about how well you do in studies, but what you learn and how you implement them in your real life. With this belief, Oakridge Dishi says, “Oakridge taught me that there is more to school life than academics. The school allowed me to explore my skills as school Head Girl and school President. It enhanced my leadership skills, gave me the confidence to stand up in front of strangers and speak my mind, and most importantly, the ability to find a balance between education, friendship, and leadership. These are characteristics that are most helpful to me at Monash University and in everyday life. The teachers were and still are, more like mentors and friends, and remain in touch and guide us long after graduation. They have helped me secure my future education and have been there till the last step. You can get an education everywhere, but few places encourage you to keep learning and explore.”
