Principal’s Desk Update – May 2025
- 6 May 2025
Dear Parents,
As we approach the summer break, we wish all our students a restful and enjoyable time. It’s the perfect opportunity for them to unwind, explore, and stay safe in the summer heat. While the students enjoy their break, our teachers will continue their professional development with a week of training, ensuring they remain at the forefront of educational best practices.
We would like to take a moment to wish all our IBDP students the very best of luck as they continue with their IBDP exams. We know they’ve worked hard, and we are confident they will shine during this critical phase of their academic journey.
From 16 May to 21 May, students from Grades 6 to 12 will embark on an exciting educational trip to Malaysia. This immersive experience will provide exposure to cultural landmarks, interactive workshops, and adventurous activities designed to promote personal growth, global awareness, and essential life skills.
Additionally, a group of 40 students from Grades 9 to 12 will participate in a hands-on summer internship at the Andhra Pradesh Medical Technology Zone from 12 May to 16 May. They will explore Assistive Technology and 3D Printing, gaining valuable industry experience that will help them build strong profiles and prepare for future academic and career success.
Looking ahead, in June, we are excited to send four of our Student Ambassadors and our Social Impact Lead, Ms. Gowri Madhuri Gupta, to Houston, Texas for the NAE-UNICEF Student Summit 2025 at The Village School. They will spend the week volunteering with the Houston Food Bank and engaging in global discussions and workshops with students from across Nord Anglia Education schools.
We are also thrilled to share that Shruthi from Grade 8 has been shortlisted among the final 16 entries in the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus Art competition for her artwork, Illusion. Out of 142 entries, her achievement is a testament to her talent and dedication.
We hope this month brings our students inspiration and growth as they take part in these exciting opportunities.
Wishing you all a wonderful summer ahead!
Warm regards,
Shaila Bhamidipati
