Dear Parents
As we step into March, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes to all the incredible women in our Oakridge community on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Your strength, dedication, and contributions continue to inspire us every day.
I take this opportunity to highlight the dedication of our students and educators and share key highlights and upcoming events that continue to shape our dynamic school community.
Our educators recently participated in the SEAMEI Teaching & Learning Conference 2025 in Abu Dhabi, where they joined over 200 teachers and Principals from 26 Nord Anglia Education schools across the region. The three-day conference focused on leadership, innovation, and inclusive education, providing valuable insights to enhance teaching methodologies and student learning experiences.
The student-Led Conference by Reception to Grade 1 students was a resounding success, offering young learners a platform to take ownership of their progress and confidently showcase their learning. Parents were delighted to see their children articulate their achievements with enthusiasm, and their positive feedback reinforced the impact of this meaningful experience.
The Grade 10 IGCSE board examinations concluded successfully, in a well-organised and seamless manner. The commitment to precision and excellence reflects the high academic standards we uphold at Oakridge.
Graduation marks an important milestone, and we are excited to celebrate our students as they step into the next phase of their journeys.
The Grade 12 and DP 2 graduation ceremony will be held on 5 April 2025, marking a significant milestone for our senior students.
Special assemblies have been scheduled to celebrate our young learners as they transition to the next stage of their educational journey. The EY2 Graduation will take place on 2 April 2025 at the Early Years Campus and on 3 April 2025 at the main campus. The Grade 5 Graduation is scheduled for 4 April 2025, marking their transition to secondary school. We look forward to honouring our students on these special occasions.
From 16 May to 23 May, students from Grades 5 to 12 will embark on an exciting educational trip to Malaysia. This immersive experience will expose them to cultural landmarks, interactive workshops, and adventure activities, fostering personal growth, global awareness, and life skills.
We look forward to welcoming students back for another year of learning, exploration, and growth on 14 April 2025 as the academic year 2025-26 begins.
