Dear Parents,

Greetings!

It was amazing to witness all our children come back to school after a long summer break. We had a grand Investiture ceremony for the School prefect council, which was witnessed by the proud Oakridge community. It was reassuring to see our young leaders take up their responsibilities so well, and the impeccable job of echoing the message – “Save our Beaches” through the school prefect assembly is praiseworthy.

Keeping up with our Academic excellence record, our Cambridge students have achieved excellent results in their Checkpoint Primary and Lower Secondary Examinations. We have earned an average higher than the international average in English, Mathematics, and Science.

Not just that, adding a feather to the cap is the IBDP results. Our first Cohort of IBDP 2022 has scored an excellent result. This could not have happened without our students’ dedication and hard work, the relentless efforts of our teachers, and immense support from parents.

Also, our students are placed in world-class institutions like Stanford University, Purdue University, University of California, Kings College of London, University of Debrecen Medical School, Hungary, and many more. I wish them the best in their future endeavours.

We have begun with our Inter-house competitions, and our young champs showed their excellent artistic skills and sportsmanship in Visual arts and Sports competitions, which were delightful to witness. The winners are being recognised in our whole school Monday Assembly. These assemblies are thematic and our students are doing fantastic by picking up different weekly themes like ‘Save our Beaches’, ‘Ban Plastic’, Time management & Stronger than fear, etc. and spreading awareness.

We also stretched a little on Yoga Day and tapped our feet to music on Music day.

For this academic year 2022-23, we have a lot of exciting and unique programs in store. Our primary focus is, however, on developing Oakridgers holistically. Stay updated about more happenings in school with our Newsletter and Install Oakridge App.
