September arrives not with a grand announcement, but with a quiet sense of momentum. The year is finding its rhythm, new ideas are taking shape, and the everyday hum of school life is filled with moments that invite us to pause, discover and grow. 

Our Early Years Open House – Sports brought infectious energy and joyful participation, as our youngest learners embraced movement, teamwork, and the simple joy of play. On Book Lovers’ Day, our Primary IB PYP students from Grades 2 to 5 stepped into the world of their favourite authors and literary characters, bringing stories to life through role-play, storytelling, and creative expression. 

The Global University Expo 2026 opened doors to new possibilities, giving students valuable insights into international education, university admissions, and the pathways that lie ahead. 

The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant moment in the school year, as a new cohort of student leaders stepped into the spotlight – ready to shape experiences, champion ideas and make a meaningful imprint on the school community. 

The Independence Day Celebration took on a special meaning as students and support staff came together to celebrate in a spirit of warmth and camaraderie. With shared talent and plenty of energy, the occasion became a joyful exchange of culture, creativity and connection. 

The vibrant spirit of La Moda celebrated identity, innovation, and the many colours of India. Through imaginative costumes and thoughtful presentations, our students explored our nation’s rich heritage, remarkable achievements, and aspirations for the future. Meanwhile, 

OakBMUN turned the page on an enriching chapter of learning, dialogue and discovery. It gave students the space to explore global issues, exchange perspectives, question thoughtfully and speak with confidence 

The Aequitas Project brought Oakridge students and government school students together through conversations, shared experiences, laughter, and building friendships that gently dissolve barriers. Through Crochet & Connect, 10 student mentors are engaged alongside 10 support staff members, transforming a simple creative activity into an opportunity for leadership, collaboration, empathy, and meaningful connection. 

DP students extended this conversation to the stage through Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice, exploring Dignity through drama, inviting audiences to reflect on prejudice, justice, identity, and resilience. 

On 20 August, students from Early Years to Grade 12 also came together for the CAS activity “Would You Rather?”, exploring UNCRC Articles through engaging scenarios and thoughtful choices. The discussions and reflections offered a meaningful glimpse into their growing understanding of integrity-making responsible choices, standing up for what is right, and treating others with fairness and respect. 

Across these experiences, one thread remained constant-the opportunity to see, question, create and connect in new ways. These are the moments that stay with us, quietly shaping perspectives and giving learning a life of its own.
