First of its kind magazine for the teachers and by the teachers launched by Oakridge
Understanding concepts and subjects can be made more interesting and memorable for when teachers adopt innovative teaching practices. Oakridge put together a collection of all such innovative classroom practices in their first of its kind teacher magazine, titled INSPIRED TEACHERS. This is the first-ever magazine that provides an opportunity for teachers to exchange and share knowledge about their innovation in teaching.
On 14th July Saturday 2018, Oakridge launched this informative teacher’s magazine at its campus. Joint Managing Director Mr. Prasanna Mandava, School Principal Arjun Rao, and Vice President – Education Devidutta Kanungo released the first edition of the magazine. Speaking about the book, Editor of the Magazine, Ms. Adilakshmi Chintalapati said, “With in-depth stories, this magazine is a collection of articles by teachers of Oakridge schools that share various new teaching practices, and some students take on teachers, global perspective on teaching, etc. Inspired Teachers Magazine’ is a platform created for teachers to share their teaching practices with the world that they use within and beyond the classrooms. The first edition of this magazine showcased the various strategies, innovations, experiences, research and successful learner-centered practices that the Oakridge teachers use for their students.” The magazine is believed to quickly become a part of this global movement to encourage teachers and educationists to constantly share their best practices, thereby benefitting the global teaching community at large.
