Dear Parents

Greetings!

September has been a month filled with gratitude and celebrations here at our school, and it’s been truly heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and participation of our students.

Our students celebrated Teachers’ Day and Grandparents’ Day with great enthusiasm and affection. These events not only allowed our children to express their appreciation for their educators and elders but also created an atmosphere of love and respect within our school community.

One of the highlights of this month has been the meaningful learning experiences that have taken place beyond the confines of the classrooms. Our students embarked on field trips that provided them with practical insights and hands-on learning opportunities. These excursions have enriched their knowledge and allowed them to connect their lessons to the real world.

I am delighted to inform you that our Early Years campus in Siripuram has been a tremendous success. The feedback from our young learners and their parents has been overwhelmingly positive. This new campus is providing our students with a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can thrive academically and socially.

Looking ahead, there are exciting activities and challenges awaiting our students at the Global Campus. The MIT STEAM challenges promise to engage their creativity and problem-solving skills, providing them with opportunities to excel and innovate.

In line with our dedication to the holistic development and well-being of our students, we are happy to share that we have been conducting and will continue to conduct a series of awareness sessions on child rights and safeguarding. These sessions are designed to empower our students with knowledge about their rights and reinforce the importance of their safety and well-being.

At our school, we have always been committed to responsible environmental practices. This month, we emphasized the importance of eco-friendly celebrations by encouraging the use of eco-friendly Ganesha idols. It’s heartening to see our students taking a step towards preserving our environment and learning about sustainability.

In closing, I want to express my gratitude to all of you, parents, and guardians, for your unwavering support in our mission to provide quality education and holistic development to your children. Together, we can nurture responsible, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals.

I encourage you to take a moment to read through the September edition of our newsletter to delve deeper into the exciting events and initiatives that have taken place within our school community. Your engagement and involvement are essential to our collective success.

Each student skillfully represented their respective countries’ perspectives in a diverse range of committees, engaging in intense yet constructive debates that fostered mutual learning. I am pleased to inform you that five delegates received Verbal Mention recognition for their outstanding contributions, and one student, was honoured with an Honourable Mention for his commendable performance.

GOOD TOUCH AND BAD TOUCH

Children learnt to identify the “No touch” areas and understood who are safe adults and whom to report when there is an alarming situation.

They also learnt to handle strangers and say ‘NO’ to unwanted touches by running away and shouting out loud. They were taught to inform the adults they trust and immediately report if they were told to hide the same from their parents.

This session helped our little ones to recognize, safeguard and protect themselves against such dangers from an early age.
