I hope everyone is enjoying a refreshing and joyful summer break. As we embrace this season of rest, I am delighted to share some of the remarkable achievements and enriching experiences our students and staff have celebrated this month.
Our IBDP students have successfully completed their exams, a true reflection of their dedication and perseverance. At the same time, we proudly congratulate all our learners for their outstanding results in the Grade 10 and 12 CBSE board examinations, as well as the Grade 10 IGCSE exams. These successes stand as a testament to the passion, hard work, and commitment of both our students and teachers.
At Oakridge, summer is not a pause from learning but a continuation of it. From an immersive international trip to Malaysia to hands-on internship, our students continue to grow and thrive in diverse and meaningful ways. This month also saw a focused week-long professional development programme for our teachers, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence in every classroom.

Oakridge CBSE Stars Soar High
Oakridgers from Grades 10 and 12 have once again delivered an inspiring performance in the 2025 CBSE Board Examinations, with a 100% pass rate. In Grade 10, Kandula Anushka Venkata led with an outstanding 484/500, followed by Arav Pandey, our proud boarder, with 478/500. From Grade 12, Ashutosh Samantaray, another boarding student, scored 442/500, while Srikar Siripurapu closely followed with 439/500.
A heartfelt celebration also goes out to our three neurodiverse students, who completed Grade 12 with exceptional strength and determination, scoring 71%, 76%, and 61%. Their journeys are powerful reminders of the resilience and courage within every learner.
Shining Bright: IGCSE Results 2025
We are proud to share the stellar performance of our IGCSE students in the 2025 Cambridge examinations. Zubein Hashmi topped the cohort with a perfect score of 8 A*s, followed by Aanya Veeramachneni with 6 A*s and 2 As.
This year, 21.5% of our Grade 10 students secured A* to A grades — a testament to their hard work, our dedicated faculty, and the strength of the IGCSE programme at Oakridge. Congratulations to our learners for their academic excellence and all-round growth as global citizens.
Celebrating Excellence
We are thrilled to congratulate Arastu Ray from the Class of 2025, on his outstanding achievement. Arastu secured an All India Rank of 36 in Bachelor of Planning and AIR 40 in Bachelor of Architecture in the JEE Mains.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Rhea Mahalakshmi from Grade 6 for winning 1st place at the North Texas Champions Tournament in Dallas. Her sharp skills and determination on the chessboard inspire us all.
Oakridge Students to Head to NAE-UNICEF Summit
Four of our students — Aanandita, Aishwarya, Vibha, and Vrishali — will represent Oakridge Vizag at the upcoming Nord Anglia Education-UNICEF Student Summit in Houston this June. Guided by Ms. Madhuri Gupta, they’ll engage in leadership workshops focused on inclusion, sustainability, and social impact. Having participated in this global summit for three years, our students continue to grow as compassionate leaders ready to create positive change in their communities.
Bridging Classroom and Industry: AMTZ Internship Experience
A group of 40 students from Grades 9 to 12 recently completed a dynamic summer internship at the Andhra Pradesh Medical Technology Zone from May 12th to 16th, gaining hands-on experience in Assistive Technology and 3D Printing. This immersive experience provided invaluable industry exposure, allowing participants to develop practical skills, understand real-world applications, and showcase initiative — essential building blocks for their academic journeys and future careers.
Oakridgers Explore Culture, Innovation & Adventure in Malaysia
Our students from Grades 6-12 just returned from an exciting international learning trip to Malaysia, where they explored iconic sites like the Petronas Towers, Genting Highlands, and Batu Caves. From engaging sessions at the Petrosains Science Centre and Taylor’s University to a thrilling tour of the Sepang F1 Circuit, the experience combined cultural discovery, academic exposure, and adventure. This unforgettable journey nurtured independence, curiosity, and global awareness — qualities we’re proud to see in every Oakridger.
