The graduation ceremony, led by the Principal and our dedicated coordinators, was a proud moment marked by the presence of our supportive parents. Recently, over 200 educators from 26 schools gathered at the SEAMEI academic conference to enrich their teaching practices. These events foster collaboration and shared learning among educators, enhancing the quality of education our students receive. As part of the Nord Anglia network, these conferences exemplify our commitment to educational excellence. Through workshops, speeches, and collaborative sessions, our teachers gain insights into innovative teaching methods, benefiting both their professional growth and our students’ learning experiences.

Spreading Awareness on Earth Day
Primary students created posters to raise awareness among their peers about protecting the Earth, aiming to make it a healthier place to live. They pledged to preserve and conserve the planet through initiatives like “Each One Plant One” and showcased their efforts on a global platform via the Global Campus program.
Circuit Building: Bridging Theory and Practice
Primary students were engaged in hands-on circuit building, identifying components, and learning about power sources like batteries and mains. Through this activity, they explore concepts of complete and incomplete circuits, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
Exploring Shapes: Understanding 2D and 3D Shapes.
Grade 2 students successfully identified and labeled both 2D and 3D shapes, grasping their unique properties. They comprehended that 2D shapes are flat, in contrast to 3D shapes, which possess a hollow space.
Rangosthav Awards
Congratulations and applause to our 66 participants who participated in Rangosthav, an International Visual Arts Event – Round 2, and received recognition for their remarkable accomplishments, earning them impressive medals and trophies.
Exploring Measurement on Standard and Non-Standard Units
Grade 2 students gained insight into the significance of standard and non-standard units of measurement for both mass and length. By grasping these concepts, they are equipped to navigate various measurement tasks with confidence and accuracy.
Rock Exploration: Unveiling Nature’s Wonders
Inquisitive Grade 2 students delved into the fascinating world of rocks, embarking on an investigative journey to uncover their diverse properties. Armed with magnifying lenses, they closely examined each rock, keen to discover its unique characteristics. Their meticulous observations were carefully documented, fostering a deeper understanding of the earth’s geological wonders.
Grade 4: Exploring Engineering Collaboration
In a dynamic lesson on teamwork, Grade 4C delved into “How engineers collaborate,” honing skills like problem-solving and resource management. Through hands-on activities, students discovered the power of synergy, leveraging each other’s strengths to achieve collective success.
Exploring Vyanjan and Vyanjan ki Maatra
Primary students recently participated in an interactive activity centered around vyanjan (consonants) and vyanjan ki maatra (secondary forms of consonants) using cards. The activity proved both enjoyable and educational, as students had fun while learning how to create new letters with matras.
Math Quiz Wizard: Inspiring Learning
Primary students dove into the inaugural Math Quiz Wizard competition, promoting enjoyable learning and deeper understanding among grades 3 to 5. Engaged participants embraced competitiveness, learned to think creatively, and fostered positive communication while navigating four rounds of challenges. High praise was given to senior DP students for their enthusiastic leadership as quiz conductors.
CASFiesta: Uniting for Organic Farming and Cultural Embrace
Class of IBDP 2 unveils an upcoming fundraiser that is poised to be both exhilarating and meaningful on 12 April 2024. The objective of this fundraising initiative, CASFiesta, is to raise awareness about and fund a project on Organic farming and embracing culture. It presents a wonderful chance for our community to unite and create a beneficial influence on promoting international mindedness and the adoption of organic farming. The occasion will showcase various fun games and different international delicacies for grades 3-12.
“The Kite Runner”: A Transformative ELL Socratic Seminar
The recent ELL Socratic seminar for our IB Diploma Programme 2 students, centered on chapters 3-8 of “The Kite Runner,” epitomized the essence of critical inquiry and collaborative learning. Through thoughtful discourse and analysis, participants delved deep into Khaled Hosseini’s themes, characters, and literary techniques. This immersive experience not only honed their analytical skills but also fostered empathy, cultural understanding, and a deeper appreciation for the power of literature to illuminate the human experience.
Recently, IBDP 1 students showcased their intellectual prowess and creativity in a vibrant hot-air balloon debate. Through lively discourse, they unraveled the intricacies of IB English Language and Literature, engaging in insightful discussions while soaring to new heights.
Oakridge Vizag’s Eco Initiatives: Fostering Sustainable Leaders
Engaging in poster-making, tree planting, and composting, Oakridge Vizag students embody environmental stewardship. From practical lessons at a composting farm to learning about Gobar gas production, they’re taking real action for a greener future. Their upcoming project: a compost-making unit on campus, exemplifies their commitment to sustainability.
Empowering Professional Development: Exploring Century Tech’s Innovations
Our teaching team, led by the principal, recently engaged in a session with Mr. Mark and Mr. Troy from Century Tech. The focus was on the platform’s features and benefits, showcasing how technology enhances learning. Insights were shared on integrating the platform into our curriculum, with an emphasis on personalized learning. This enlightening session equipped our teachers with innovative strategies to engage students effectively.
