Dear Parents
Greetings!
As our new academic year has begun it’s time to reflect on the fantastic start we’ve had after the summer break. Our students have truly hit the ground running, enthusiastically engaging in both their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities.
I am excited to share that our students have performed exceptionally wonderful in the highly anticipated Inter-House Dance, Music, and Drama competitions. I was thrilled to witness their talent and creativity first-hand. These events not only showcase their skills but also foster a sense of unity and friendly competition among our students.
I am delighted to observe the increasing conversations and awareness surrounding the UN Child Rights. Our students have actively participated in various activities centered around this important topic. It is heartening to see our school community’s commitment to nurturing informed and compassionate global citizens.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our newly appointed Senior Prefects from Grade 12 and Junior Prefects from Grade 5. After a rigorous selection process, we have finalized the prefects who have officially been invested on June 30. These student leaders have displayed exceptional qualities and dedication, and I have no doubt they will excel in their roles, guiding and inspiring their peers.
In addition, I want to express my gratitude to all the parents who attended our Orientation meets. It was a pleasure to meet you and engage in meaningful conversations. Your involvement in your child’s education is invaluable, and I am confident that together, we can create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Our recent “Cookie Crafters” event was a resounding success, enjoyed by the parents of Grade 4 and 5. The joy and enthusiasm displayed by both parents and children as they decorated cookies together were truly infectious. Such events strengthen the bond between families and the school, fostering a sense of community that is essential for holistic growth.
Lastly, I am happy to announce the opening of our Bakery Unit in the school kitchen. With this exciting addition, our students will now savour delicious bakery items on the lunch menu at least twice a week.
I encourage you all to read the June newsletter, where you will find more details about these events and other noteworthy happenings at our school.
Thank you and let’s continue to strive for excellence together.
