Dear Parents,

We began the year on an exciting note with the third chapter of Alumnati, our annual alumni dinner that hosts not just students but ex-staff to meet and share the magical moments of their Oakridge journey. January is the month of showcasing our MYP learners through the Personal Project exhibition which epitomizes curiosity, creativity, and real world context. January ushered in a series of student achievements beyond classroom, in sports, arts, innovation, and service, reminding us of the incredible potential our learners hold. As we move into February, we remain committed to creating opportunities that help every student explore, grow, and move ahead in their journey of purpose and consciousness.

Ms.Dipika Rao, Principal

Oakridge International School, Gachibowli

MYP Personal Project Exhibition 2026 Personal Project Exhibition is an important part of the IB Middle Years Program. Students are encouraged to plan, research, reflect and apply their skills in a topic of their interest. Parents were invited to this two-day Exhibition, engaging in conversations with students and witnessing practical learning take place.

More than an academic requirement, the Personal Project helps students grow into reflective, responsible, and independent learners. These are young people who can think critically, take initiative, and contribute thoughtfully to the world around them.

Aluminati Chapter 3

We invited our alumni back to Oakridge Gachibowli for a night of joyful discussions and recollections. It was wonderful to see all the students from 2010 to 2025 come back to their school and connect with their teachers and classmates. As we celebrate Oakridge Gachibowli’s 25th anniversary, events like these serve as a reminder that our legacy lives on through our alumni and the careers they pursue.

Makar Sankranti Celebrations at Oakridge

Our campus came alive with colour and creativity as students celebrated Makar Sankranti. Students participated in rangoli-making, kite-making and storytelling activity while understanding the cultural significance of the festival. Our Pre-Nursery students explored the cultural meaning behind the harvest festival, while the celebrations of Bhogi, Sankranti, and Kanuma helped students understand and appreciate Indian traditions. These experiences strengthen cultural awareness and build a strong sense of belonging within our school community.
