Dear Parent,

Hope you all are enjoying the winter sunshine and have a set of healthy resolutions to begin the new year with. January began with a fresh start for us at Oakridge, Gachibowli. One of the key highlights being the much-awaited IB Evaluation Report, which is excellent with special mention of Culture, Environment & Teaching and Learning in school. Another big news that I am happy to share is that  Ms Padma Rawat, EY2 Coordinator has been invited to be an IB Workshop Facilitator for PYP.

Not to be left behind are our MYP students who displayed their learning engagement through the Personal Project Exhibition which exhibited their innovative approach towards solving multiple complex problems in a global context. In this two-day event, our students exhibited their collaboration, communication, research, and presentation skills. This was followed by the CBSE Open Day where students showcased their projects through immersive and interactive models.

Being a season of festivities, the colors of Bhogi and Pongal took over   the campus where teachers, staff, and students came together to celebrate the spirit of the new year. Our EY and PYP students made the most of the festival as they decorated the Palm Court with beautiful rangoli. We also received wide support from parents in PTSM and had some engaging discussions with our parent community.

The celebration of learning does not stop here. We have multiple activities planned- Casnival being one of the mega highlights of the month. Junior school students are also gearing up for Sports Fest and PMUN. It will be a colorful collage of activities in the coming weeks.

I hope to meet you all in CASnival.

Regards,

Ms. Dipika Rao, Principal

Oakridge International School, Gachibowli
