Dear Parent,

As I joined the Oakridge community in the final month of 2022, I would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone on our success story that is resting on the pillars of collaboration, communication, and talent. It is also a moment to reflect and reiterate that the legacy of the school will be continued to ensure that Oakridgers stand apart in both their abilities and achievements from the rest.

This month has been a notable one with the IBO Evaluation for all three program. A continuum evaluation is intensely demanding and provides valuable feedback to school on their culture, purpose and environment. I am happy to share that the evaluation team has given an excellent feedback and have applauded the Program Development Plan. This applause has set higher benchmark for school that we strive to achieve in the coming year.

This month was made more eventful at Oakridge with the Homecoming 2022 organized by the CAS team. The entire campus lit up to align with the theme of the event- ‘Lumiere’. Besides this, the Campground left the junior school students thrilled. Anchoring on the same, we have multiple events planned.

I am excitedly looking forward to the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ theatre production led by our MYP students wherein they aim to question the conventional standards of beauty. Additionally, considering the recent turn of events, we also have a workshop against the prevention of cyber-crime coming up. The campus is bustling with the spirit of the season with the tunes of carols, Christmas trees, and a spirit of joy around us.

With this, let’s remember that this is the season of giving and we have multiple outreach activities to help the community around us. Please reach out to your respective segments and participate in the joy of sharing.

With this, I hope to see you all soon in the coming year. Wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Best wishes and Warm Regards,

Ms. Dipika Rao, Principal
