Ideas Worth Sharing
TEDxOakridgeGachibowli is a youth event aimed at fostering innovation, embracing diversity, and challenging conventional wisdom. The theme for the event revolves around the concept of “Paradox of Plenty”.
This TEDx theme invites a wide range of speakers to explore how overabundance can result in unintended consequences, and how young people can respond with intention, creativity, and responsibility. From dealing with digital overload and redefining success to tackling food waste and innovating through limitations, this theme also encourages deep reflection on finding meaning, purpose, and balance in a world full of excess.
This theme reflects the ethos of Oakridge International School, which prides itself on being more than just an educational institution but a community of open-minded individuals. The school believes in nurturing global leaders who are able to engage with the rich characteristics of human experience, where perspectives are varied, contradictory, and fascinating.
By embracing this theme in its first TEDx event, Oakridge International School distinguishes itself as a place where open-mindedness is not just encouraged but celebrated. The theme resonates with students, teachers, and the community, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing global leaders who are equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
