Scientific Curiosity

Young children are very curious. They explore, question, and wonder, and by doing so, learn. When we are curious about something new, we want to explore it. And while exploring we discover. By turning the light switch on and off over and over again, the toddler is learning about cause and effect. When I asked my class will they small fan rotate by itself when placed at an angle, one of students quickly rushed to the fan, climbed on a chair and started testing if the little fan rotates. As a teacher I feel it is very important to bring curiosity in class by bring artefacts or posing questions. It makes my students learn with fun. By Navitha.
