  • Wondrous Expeditions

In the realm of perpetual learning at Oakridge, our students’ awe-inspiring contributions at the Dubai STEAM Festival were a resplendent testament to our unwavering commitment.

Embarking on a thrilling adventure, students from Grade 4 to 12 embarked on an exhilarating expedition to the enchanting destinations of Jim Corbett and Nainital. This captivating journey encompassed heart-pounding safaris through the majestic wilderness and included intriguing visits to museums, where the students delved into the rich history and culture of the region. They returned home, not just with memories of an exciting journey but also with a deeper understanding of their role in protecting our planet.

Exciting excursions await in January and May, including the SEAMEI Trip, as Oakridge Students continue to expand their horizons.

  • Global Connectedness: Empowering Students Through Experiential Learning

The Early Years students enthusiastically embraced the Global Connectedness Challenge, crafting intricate nature weavings such as a waving Nemo fish, a vibrant bouquet, and flower-adorned thread. These sustainable creations not only teach the significance of environmental care but also celebrate nature’s exquisite beauty.

  • NAE Insights
I wanted to write to you to draw your attention to a brand-new publication from Nord Anglia Education called INSIGHTS that looks at the subjects that matter most to young people and their parents when it comes to education.

I first became aware of this magazine back in late September at our global Senior Leadership Conference and was hugely impressed by the thought-provoking content and opinions offered by the contributors.

The articles cover topics such as: Can children learn how to be happy? And if they can, will it make a difference? Do children need knowledge anymore when everything’s a click or a swipe away with AI? Does learning about ‘making a difference’ (as in social impact) actually make any difference?

I invite you to read, reflect, and share INSIGHTS by clicking on the link here:

Let’s embrace the power to innovate and unlock a world of endless possibilities!
