It has been wonderful to welcome our students back to campus and to greet our youngest learners as they embark on their very first school journey with us.
As we begin this new academic year, we look forward to creating enriching experiences that inspire our students to think deeply, embrace new opportunities, and continue growing as confident, compassionate learners.
This year also marks significant milestones for Oakridge as we commence our CIS reaccreditation and IB evaluation journeys, important steps that reflect our unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
I look forward to an exciting year of learning, discovery, and shared success with the entire Oakridge family.
Best Wishes and Warm Regards,

This June, Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, proudly unveils a range of thoughtfully renovated spaces designed to elevate everyday learning experiences, from the state-of-the-art Chemistry Lab that encourages hands-on scientific exploration, to vibrant primary activity areas that foster creativity and collaboration, a welcoming Junior Library that inspires a love for reading, and enhanced primary flooring that ensures safety with a fresh, modern feel. Adding to these exciting transformations is the beautifully revamped Tree House, offering a unique, imaginative space where young learners can connect with nature and engage in creative play. Together, these upgrades reflect our continued commitment to creating dynamic environments that nurture curiosity, well-being, and a lifelong love of learning.
We welcomed our PYP and CBSE students back to school with an exciting “Time Travel” themed experience at the entrance. A creatively designed tunnel led students on a symbolic journey, with visuals of the past on one side and the future on the other. This immersive walk set a tone of curiosity and reflection as they stepped into a new academic year. The experience sparked excitement and wonder right from the start. It was a joyful beginning to a year of exploration and growth.
We were delighted to welcome our EYP students back to school and extend a warm first-time greeting to our pre-nursery learners. The campus came alive with an adventurous Jumanji-themed welcome, setting the tone for an exciting year ahead. A specially designed maze in the Palm Court became the highlight, sparking curiosity and joy among our young explorers. Students enthusiastically navigated the maze. The vibrant setup created a fun and reassuring environment for our newest members. It was heartening to see smiles, laughter, and new friendships forming from the very first day. We look forward to a year filled with discovery, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences.
Four Oakridge Gachibowli students, Yuvan Govindharaj, Garima Jain, Aadya (Grade 9), and Tanvi C (Grade 10) were selected as Student Ambassadors to represent the school at the Nord Anglia Education (NAE) Social Impact Summit 2026, held in collaboration with UNICEF. Chosen for their strong communication skills, understanding of social impact, and passion for creating positive change, they joined over 150 students from more than 50 Nord Anglia schools worldwide.
Under the theme “NAE 2030 – Making the Invisible Visible,” the summit focused on exploring sustainable and inclusive communities while empowering young people to become changemakers. During the week-long experience in Houston, our students collaborated with peers from across the globe, exchanged ideas, shared local impact initiatives, and developed meaningful international connections. They returned with fresh perspectives, enhanced leadership skills, and a renewed commitment to creating positive change within their communities. Their journey is a testament to the power of student voice, collaboration, and social responsibility
We take immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievements of our students across academics and sports. Vaidehi Agarwal (Grade 5A) and her partner Aaradhya Biswas secured 1st place in the Under-13 Girls Doubles at the prestigious Hyderabad District Badminton Championships 2026. Their victory has earned them qualification for the upcoming Telangana State Badminton Tournament.
Aryan Nadimpalli (CBSE) achieved remarkable global recognition by securing Rank 48 among 19,953 participants in the CEMC Cayley Contest, conducted by the University of Waterloo. He stands among the top 0.25% worldwide and received a Certificate of Distinction for his excellence in mathematics. He also represented Hyderabad and clinched 1st place at the 11th BFI Youth Inter-District Championship in Telangana.
In another proud sporting achievement, Arjun Dhaduvai represented Team Hyderabad at the 11th Youth BFI Inter-District Championship in Telangana, where his team emerged victorious and secured 1st place.
Adding to our basketball success, Arjun Krishna Dhaduvai, Krish Chawda, and Sidhanth participated in the Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL), where their team was crowned champions. Their achievements are a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and passion for the sport.
As we step into the new academic year, an exciting month awaits our students with opportunities for growth and leadership. Grade 12 and DP2 students will soon embark on a dynamic Leadership Camp, designed to build collaboration, resilience, and essential life skills. This immersive experience will empower students to step into leadership roles with confidence and purpose.
Adding to the excitement, we are set to host the much-anticipated 3-day OakMUN – Chapter 16 from 24–26 July. The conference will provide a global platform for students to engage in meaningful debates and develop critical thinking skills. Participants will take on the roles of young diplomats, addressing real-world challenges through dialogue and negotiation. We look forward to a month filled with learning, leadership, and enriching experiences for our students.
