Dear Parents,
As we move toward the close of this academic year, I am encouraged by the depth of learning and reflection across our IB and CBSE cohorts. Our students have engaged meaningfully with assessments, exhibitions, and projects that testify their resilience, empathy, and readiness for a complex world. Despite global challenges, our commitment to nurturing caring, and conscious citizens remains steadfast. I am deeply grateful for our parents’ continued partnership in this shared journey.
Best Wishes and Warm Regards,

Our very first Pre‑Nursery Sports Fest on 11 February was a heartwarming celebration of confidence, courage, and joyful participation. It was a special morning that brought together our youngest learners, their teachers, and families to mark an early milestone in their learning journey. Each activity encouraged children to explore movement, follow simple instructions, and experience the excitement of participating as a group.
Our Grade 5 learners proudly showcased their PYP Exhibition under the theme “Sharing the Planet.” The event opened with an engaging nukkad natak highlighting the importance of cyber safety and responsible digital behaviour, followed by a delightful cup dance performance by all students. Parents were then invited to visit the classrooms, where students presented their inquiry projects, demonstrating deep research, collaboration, and creative solutions connected to global sustainability and responsible citizenship.
The MYP Community Project presentation, held on 18 and 19 February, highlighted the meaningful work our students carried out over the past few weeks. As part of their chosen initiatives, many students visited government schools to understand local needs and offer practical support. They also raised money through their communities and contributed directly to the causes they selected. During the event, students discussed their planning process, the actions they took, and the impact their efforts had. The project helped them grow in confidence, empathy, and responsibility. It was inspiring to see how thoughtfully they connected their learning with real community needs.
This year, 18 students from the ELP appeared for the Trinity Drama Examinations at Levels 3, 5, 6, and 7, as well as Solo Level 6. All students passed with Distinction, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication. Congratulations to our young performers and their mentors! Our students delivered an excellent performance at the Manchester Global International School IB PYP Badminton Competition 2026, securing: 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze, Overall Runner-Up Trophy. Vihaan Anand Eswarapu, from Grade 12, won 2nd prize at IKMC 2025 for creating an Automatic Waste Segregation Machine that tackles India’s growing waste‑management challenges. His innovation aligns with the upcoming waste‑segregation rules and showcases the rising impact of youth-led environmental tech in India. Heartiest congratulations to all our achievers and sincere appreciation to the coaches/Faculty for their guidance!
Our DP1 students transformed the abstract world of mathematics into an exciting, hands‑on experience as they curated a vibrant Math Exhibition in celebration of Pi Day. The event served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase mathematical concepts through interactive models, real‑world applications, and creative problem‑solving displays, offering visitors a fresh perspective on how maths shapes the world around us.
The event not only celebrated the significance of Pi Day but also strengthened conceptual understanding, student agency, and the joy of exploration. It was inspiring to witness our DP1 learners take the lead in making mathematics meaningful, purposeful, and truly enjoyable.
Our student‑Led Conferences brought joyful learning to life across the school.
In the Early Years (Pre‑Nursery to Grade 1), our youngest learners confidently guided their parents through hands‑on activities, showcasing their growing skills in literacy, numeracy and creative exploration.
In the PYP (Grades 2 to 5), students shared their portfolios, inquiry work and reflections, demonstrating ownership of their learning and the IB attributes of being communicators and thinkers.
Our students have secured an impressive 4th position at the 2025–26 ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament, showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination.
Held at the KD Jadhav Indoor Arena, the tournament brought together over 8,000 students from 900+ schools across India.
A proud moment for the Oakridge community!
