Dear Parents,

It was wonderful to see our Oakridgers display innovative projects for Student Led Conference (SLC) and demonstrate the concepts flawlessly. Indeed, SLC helps in boosting the confidence of students and uplifts their communication & presentation skills by challenging them. I am sure that for you as well to witness our students becoming teachers for the day and explaining the concepts learnt at school was overwhelming too. I thank each one of you for always extending your support and being there for the event.

As this is the month of examinations, we understand how stressed it can be for both parents and children and the session by our student counsellor was an attempt to extend our support and help parents with strategies to support your child during board examinations. February is also the month of celebrating languages and on international mother language day our primary students and parents beautifully showcased the significance of the mother language and encouraged our children to learn more languages.

This month has also been about achievements and pride. Few of our students have received amazing records and recognitions which awaits your read in the newsletter.

I am sure that all our students are well prepared for their examinations and will perform well in their examinations. I wish all our students Best of Luck for their exams!

VISIT TO SANKALPA ART VILLAGE

In the mind of every artist there is a masterpiece.

Students of Grade 4 and 5 went to field trip to Sankalpa art village and witnessed revival of indigenous art and crafts, to create, innovate and teach the posterity to live close to nature and have healthy and sustainable living.

They learnt about naturally dyed handlooms and natural lacquered wooden toys and cutlery which are handmade by the local artisans.

It was indeed a splendid experience and a learning for our young Oakridgers.

Here are few glimpses.
