Dear Parent,

Greetings!

September has been a busy month for us with many things happening at our school. Our students have once again proven that there is no substitute for hard work by doing well in their Term-1 examinations. It was beautiful to see a few of you at our Parent Educator Meetings (PEMs) and am awaiting to meet the rest at the upcoming PEMs.

Our Global University Fair 2022 went wonderful. 61 World-Class Universities from Eight countries presented learners with various college and career opportunities. Besides this, our Theory of Knowledge Exhibition by IBDP 2 students went fantastic, it was wonderful to witness our students share their knowledge with great confidence and eloquence.

Aligning with our vision to nurture young minds to be successful and responsible global citizens our IBDP students under the CAS activity continued the legacy of Oakridge by undertaking their volunteering-teaching project V4U for the students of the Zilla Parishad High School. Speaking of service to society our IBDP students have done fundraising for the cause “Stay at School” initiative.

Also, our students are all set to be a part of the four-day Leadership Camp which is a concentrated, intensive, transformative leadership development program. We have multiple exciting events coming up post the Autumn break.

Till then I invite you all to go through our activities and events in this September edition and wish you all a Very Happy Dussehra!

Best Wishes & Warm Regards

Our Little Chefs

Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.

The air was filled with enthusiasm for our Early years’ tiny tots when they played the role of chefs. They donned their chef caps to exhibit their culinary skills in flameless cooking. This activity was carried out to involve all their senses and promote life skills.

Compliment Box

You just glow

The most important skill anyone might possess is being able to acknowledge the inner beauty of people and to be thankful for who and what they are.

Through the compliment box activity conducted by OISV Wellbeing Club, our secondary students had the chance to hone such abilities and discuss how being grateful would promote fruitful and valuable social connections.
