Due to COVID-19, one of the virtual classes had been on Procedural writing vs Explanatory for PYP G-5. The learning outcome was to understand the purpose of both writing techniques and their usage. As we are under lockdown, started the session with the strategy what-why-how. Learners reasoned appropriately connecting to the real world happenings and how they are working as a team with their family members. So, the students were presented with the video of making chocolates and caramel popcorn to go with movies using procedural writing. Here are the snippets.
