From The

Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

I am delighted to welcome you all back to school for the 2023-2024 academic year. This year holds tremendous promise for our school as we come together, forge connections, and create a positive change within our local and global communities.

I cannot express enough how thrilled I am to have our students back on campus! The sound of laughter and the pursuit of knowledge have once again brought our campus to life. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the parents who collaborated with us to ensure a smooth school reopening. Your invaluable assistance in preparing your children for their return to school was instrumental in our success.

Furthermore, I am pleased to announce that our students have continued to excel this year. The recent IGCSE Grade 8 checkpoint results indicate that our students have scored above the international average. This achievement speaks volumes about their unwavering determination and hard work, and I am tremendously proud of their accomplishments.

Exciting changes have been implemented in our school this year. We have welcomed new staff members to enhance the safety and inclusivity of our school environment while improving our infrastructure and human resources. Moreover, we have reaffirmed our commitment to integrating Social Justice Standards, employing Responsive Classroom community-building techniques, and providing social and emotional support strategies in our students’ daily school experience.

I acknowledge that the past few years have been fraught with challenges for everyone, but I firmly believe that this year holds immense promise. Together, I eagerly anticipate working with each and every one of you to create a truly unforgettable year!

Events And

Music Day

On World Music Day, musical instruments were showcased in the Oak Piazza. Students, teachers, and staff gathered in the MPH to celebrate Music Day. Music teachers opened the celebration with a song, followed by performances by students. Music is the soundtrack to our lives, and we celebrated it in style!

Fathers Day

Our Primary Segment celebrated its first parent engagement event, “Dazzle with Dad.” It was a fun-filled day of laughter, fun, and pure bliss. Fathers and their children dressed up and showed off their culinary skills. It was heartwarming to see the bond between fathers and their children.

There is no better role model than a father for a child. Our tiny tots had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day with their dads.

Yoga Day

Students from different segments of our school came together on Yoga Day to practice yoga and learn about the benefits of this ancient practice. They enjoyed connecting their mind, body, and soul and are excited to continue practicing yoga to improve their physical and mental health.

Telangana Formation Day

The Decennial Celebration of Telangana Formation Day at Oakridge was filled with fervor and enthusiasm.

Worlds Best

Mr. Sreedhar Mannam, our STEAM lead, and senior secondary physics facilitator, is attending the Summer MIT Professional Development Week in Boston. This exclusive event brings together Nord Anglia educators for hands-on training led by MIT researchers and academic experts.

Planting Seeds

Planting the seeds of a sustainable future. We celebrate our principal, Ms. Baljeet Oberoi, as she leaves a lasting impact by planting a tree on her birthday, fostering a greener tomorrow for generations to come.

Social Purpose

On a recent trip to Shirdi, our 8th grader Akhil Sai Aarush donated his old clothes to a group of homeless children. Akhil’s act of kindness is truly inspiring. It shows that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others.
