Our young stars (Nursery, EYP, G1) shined in a magnificent musical! From EYP2’s reimagined wolf tale to G1’s captivating Lion King, their performances were mesmerizing, heartwarming, and truly unforgettable. SAWAHIL

Our primary students embraced global cultures at Sawahil, Culture Mela, showcasing diversity at Oakridge Bachupally. Through vibrant performances and interactive exhibits, they celebrated traditions, fostering global citizenship and embracing diverse richness.

Blessing Ceremony

At Oakridge Bachupally, we uphold academic heritage. Our CBSE segment hosted a blessing ceremony for the 10th and 12th graders who will be appearing for their boards. From heartfelt citations to the glow of the blessing candle, every moment was a testament to the values we hold. Wishing all the best to CBSE 10th and 12th graders!

PYP Human Library

At our PYP Human Library, Grade 2 learners explore beyond traditional books. Our students engage in inquiries with diverse individuals, broadening their horizons through meaningful conversations. Dr. Sravya (medicine), Ms. Desai (nutrition), Ms. Mishra (yoga instructor), and Dr. Tabitha (psychiatry) helped our kids gain deeper understanding across diverse subjects.

International Mindedness

Young Oakridgers Celebrate International Mindedness! Our curious learners explored cultures through costumes, languages, food, and landmarks, fostering empathy and appreciation for our diverse world.

Belt Grading Test

Congratulations to all 120 Taekwondo students who advanced to their next belt level! Grades 2–8 students underwent examination supervised by Chief Examiner Mr. Mukesh (4th-degree black belt). Appreciation to our dedicated masters, Mr. Hemanth and Mr. Rana, for their guidance.

Twinning Duo

Like mother, like child – twinning in style and heart! Our Early Years celebrated a heartwarming ‘Twinning Duo’ event. Moms and their adorable minis sashayed down the runway, showcasing their unique bond. Laughter, fashion, and cherished memories filled the air!

Basketball Champion

Ram Agarwal, DP 2 student, has been selected to represent the U18 Telangana state Basketball team. He will compete in the 73rd Junior National Basketball Championship organized by the Basketball Federation of India in collaboration with the Bhubaneswar Basketball Association. The championship will be held in Bhubaneswar from February 4th to 11th.

Hemani Gollapalli, DP1 student at Oakridge Bachupally, now a part of the HundrED Youth Ambassador Programme. Listen to her story as she shares her passion for SDGs. As a student of psychology and biology, she’s drawn to SDG 3, she believes that small actions can transform lives.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

Our Grade 11 student, Mithul, along with his team, wins big at the TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) Hyderabad competition with their innovative pet needs aggregator app! The prestigious 15th edition of the TiE Hyderabad Young Entrepreneurs Program 2023-24 oversaw 25 young minds who presented solutions to real-world challenges. We’re incredibly proud of Mithul and his team’s achievement at TYE Hyderabad!

Global Campus Debate Competition

At Oakridge Bachupally, we cultivate critical thinking and effective communication. Our CBSE students from grades 9 to 12 shone in the Global Campus Debate, winning against Vizag Campus.

Prep for PYP Exhibition

As part of the PYP Exhibition, Grade 5 students explored the transdisciplinary theme ‘How we express ourselves’ through experiential learning. They visited various places according to their allocated concepts.

Enriching Weather Exploration!

Our CBSE students had a very enriching experience learning about the functioning of the Doppler Weather Radar (DWR) and weather forecast parameters. During their visit to the Meteorological Centre in Begumpet, they measured sunlight intensity, wind direction, wind speed, temperature, and humidity levels.

A Taste of World Music

South African musicians Volley Nchabeleng & Dumisani Maswana brought Africa to OISB with “A Taste of World Music”! Students were wowed by traditional folklore & handcrafted instruments, including the iconic marimba. The hall buzzed with engagement & left everyone speechless!

In a world where personal branding sets us apart, at Oakridge Bachupally, we ensure that our students are on par and leverage their personal branding for their future success. Ms. Hanisha, Chief Branding Officer of Kfintech, shared invaluable insights during her guest lecture on crafting our unique identity and leveraging personal branding. A captivating session attended by students from Class 9 and above.

Unleash Your Potential

Amit Raj Sinha, MD & CEO at Sigachi Pharma, delivered a Guest Talk on ‘Unleash Your Potential’ for our young adults at Oakridge International School, Bachupally. He shared 9 mantras to succeed in life, including Overcoming Self-Doubt, Persistence, Finding a Mentor, and Discovering your True North Star.

Library

In collaboration with our team ELEOS, Cambridge Primary students set up a library at the Sikligar Welfare Society. They also distributed art kits to all the students as a New Year present.

SDGs to Life!

Ms. Vrushali, our librarian, brings SDGs to life! Through fun activities, students connect characters and storylines to real-world problems, exploring the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This helps them understand global challenges and the power of positive change.

Health Check Champ

As part of employee well-being, our Human Resource Department hosted a health check camp in association with Yashoda Hospitals. The session started with an informative talk by Dr. Podili Rajesh, MS (Ortho) FIJR, followed by an orthopedic health camp.
