As we approach the end of another academic year, it is with great pride that I share with you the momentous events and activities that have taken place this month at our school. The highlight of the month was undoubtedly the graduation of the Class of 2023. We are immensely proud of our graduates, who have shown resilience, dedication, and hard work witnessing their growth over the years.
This year’s graduating class achieved exceptional results, with many students receiving offers from top universities across the world. We are confident that they will achieve great success in their future endeavors, and we wish them all the best as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.
The school has been bustling with a wide range of activities and events this month. Early years and primary graduation days, student-led conferences, celebrating Earth Day, and annual expectation meets allowed our students to showcase new skills, foster teamwork, and for parents to witness their children’s work.
Lastly, I would like to welcome all new students to Oakridge Bachupally through the Oakridge Readiness Program (ORP). ORP engages students through a range of activities designed to build social skills, confidence, and a sense of community. As summer approaches, we encourage you to check out Oakridge Bachupally’s In-school Summer Learning Program, which offers personalized fun learning opportunities, fostering resilience, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking.
As the principal of Oakridge, I firmly believe that the real beginning of influence comes when others sense that you are being influenced by them and that you have listened deeply. Let us continue to work together to nurture our students’ potential and help them achieve their dreams.

We are delighted to announce that over 90 of our students graduated this year and have secured placements in top universities worldwide. The graduation ceremony was a joyous occasion where students were recognized for their hard work and dedication. We are proud to have equipped these young learners with the skills to become responsible global citizens, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
Our Early Years students rocked the Student Led Conference with impressive presentations and hands-on activities. Celebrating the learning journey of our little ones, it’s amazing to see how much they’ve learned and grown this year.
The Early Years graduation day was a momentous occasion for our graduating young learners. Parents of the graduating young learners joined us for this special event to celebrate the accomplishments and progress of our little graduates. As our little acorns move on to primary school, we can’t wait to see them grow into mighty oaks.
Our little changemakers raised awareness about Sustainable Development Goal-9, emphasizing the need for resilient infrastructure, sustainable industrialization, and innovation. Alongside this, they brought Sustainable Development Goal-2 to life with an inspiring play highlighting food’s importance and achieving Zero Hunger by 2030. The event was a great success, with parents and teachers in attendance to celebrate the students’ efforts and accomplishments in creating a better and more sustainable world.
The IB PYP portion was buzzing with inquirers and communicators trying their hands at experiments, architecture, and various art forms as part of the STEAM with MIT challenges. The showcase’s major goal was to introduce kids to the most cutting-edge STEAM research and ideas. It is a venue where students can demonstrate their learning to develop and hone extra abilities like communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking (the “4 Cs”).
The PYP Oak Affinity Club Showcase is a riveting opportunity to observe young learners’ virtuosity and skill set. Learners presented their learning ventures and reflections through clubs such as Gardening, Calligraphy, Culinary, Art and sketching, DIY Eco, Knit and Knot, and Health and Wellness.
We are delighted to announce the recipients of the Academic Excellence Awards! This prestigious ceremony recognized our exceptional students’ hard work and dedication in grades 6-8 and 9-11. We believe recognition and appreciation are essential to motivating and inspiring students to continue striving for academic excellence. Therefore, we commend these students for their outstanding academic achievements and celebrate their commitment to their goals.
Cambridge Primary acknowledged the achievements of their brilliant students who have made both the school and their parents proud. Students were awarded medals and certificates for both academic excellence and Olympiads for the academic year 2022-23. The aim is to recognize that talent of our students and motivate them to shine in their respective fields.
The Buttermilk Drive, sponsored by the Affinity Clubs, was a laudable service that reached out to the needs of the thirst in this blazing heat. A social cause driven by the team of Affinity was eye captivating while reaching out to needs of the thirst, each of them took back a bundle of joy and satisfaction. The drive has left a mark in the minds of the commoners, and they have shared their laurels and encouraged the team to continue doing this wellbeing cause.
