Oakridge Bachupally Model United Nations 2023

With 9 different committees to choose from for students from Grades 8 – 12 the Model UN is sure to cover all the key global issues of the 21st century whilst still allowing students to develop a large variety of skills. Preparing and participating in a Model United Nations helps students develop leadership skills, research, writing, public speaking, and problem-solving skills. Moreover, coming up with solutions that are acceptable to a majority of the representatives also inculcates skills of negotiation, conflict resolution, and cooperation.
Above all, Model UN is a change to meet people; all of whom are like-minded, driven to explore, highly critical and intensely curious. Whilst it is only a 3-day conference, delegates and participants go on to form friendships lasting a lifetime exploring interests and hobbies far beyond international diplomacy.
