Students across NAE celebrated World Children’s Day with a difference

  • 29 November 2021

Not just our students from Oakridge International Schools but also many of our partner schools have celebrated World Children’s Day last weekend to raise awareness of issues children are facing around the world.

For example, the entire school at the British School of Guangzhou, representing 1,200 students and 120 colleagues, took part in a ‘Walk for Wellness’ by dressing in blue and walking laps of the school’s grounds.

Similarly, our BIS Houston students celebrated by going blue and hosting all kinds of fun activities.

At BIS Hanoi, students took over the school with a World Children’s Day assembly featuring NGO guest speakers.

Last week, primary school students at the British International School of Washington raised $1,200 for the DC Diaper Bank through a second-hand book fair. Take a look here.
